To grow the respective Therapy Area pipeline in order to maximize revenue generation and market share in KSA through competitive advantage and brand evolution, within regulatory requirements and organizational objectives.


  • Prepare and recommend the Marketing unit budget for the assigned therapy area by conducting analysis and preparing data related to specific elements as directed. 


  • Monitor the financial performance of the Marketing unit for the assigned therapy area against budgets so that areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified and rectified promptly, and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon. 


  • Manage the daily operations of the Marketing unit for the respective therapy area to ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and comply with established policies, processes and procedures. 


  • Manage and prepare timely and accurate reports and presentations to meet company and department requirements, policies and standards. 


  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies, set annual objectives for the team, focusing on brand development, market share growth, sales achievement and competitive positioning within the assigned therapy area. 


  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. 


  • Analyze data on product performance, market dynamics, and consumer preferences to inform marketing decisions.  Review the performance of the previous year to inform strategy development. 


  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies, set annual objectives for the team, focusing on brand development, market share growth, sales achievement and competitive positioning within the assigned therapy area. 
  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. 
  • Analyze data on product performance, market dynamics, and consumer preferences to inform marketing decisions.  Review the performance of the previous year to inform strategy development. 
  • Forecast market trends and develop strategies to capitalize on market opportunities.  Conduct rolling forecasts for each product within the assigned portfolio. 
  • Utilize CRM platform for data analysis, market potential assessment, sales target tracking, and customer engagement, and analytics tools to track campaign performance and adjust strategies accordingly. 
  • Set the proper promotional structure and FTEs, mapping the promotional grid based on the strategic importance and market potential. 
  • Oversee the brand strategy for a range of scheduled products and new launches, ensuring alignment with the overall business goals. 
  • Collaborate with Product Managers to develop and implement effective branding and positioning strategies, and with sales teams to align marketing strategies with sales objectives. 
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging across all marketing channels and materials, and monitor and analyze brand performance, adjusting strategies as needed. 
  • Manage brand strategies and map the product portfolio annually, identifying gaps for promotional activities and market segmentation. 
  • Develop marketing plans and campaigns to Doctors, Pharmacies and Consumers (including both digital and traditional media strategies where applicable). 
  • Plan and mentor the execution of innovative marketing activities including Organize and lead group meetings, webinars, and conferences. 
  • Oversee the production of promotional materials and marketing collateral. 
  • Create marketing content across multiple formats to attract, engage, convert, and retain audiences, including but not limited to webinars, patient case studies, customer case studies, testimonials, white papers, blog posts, videos, etc. 
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards in all marketing activities. 
  • Generate and monitor stock reports for materials to assure supply. 
  • Regularly report on marketing campaign results and market research findings to head of marketing. 
  • Utilize analytics tools to track campaign performance and adjust strategies accordingly. 
  • Conduct KOL visits alongside double visits with medical representatives and product managers on periodic basis assuring the execution of marketing strategies. 
  • Hold monthly periodic business review meetings with higher management and quarterly meetings with the different promotion sales field force including MRs, FFMs, PMs, KAMs and ASMs to assure business effectiveness. 
  • Ensure that all marketing activities follow regulatory bodies and ethical standards, and stay updated with changes in regulations and guidelines affecting the marketing of pharmaceutical products. 
  • Encourage and implement innovative marketing techniques and technologies to stay ahead in a competitive market and continually assess and improve marketing processes and strategies for greater efficiency and effectiveness. 
  • Manage the activities and work of subordinates and evaluate their performance by providing formal and informal feedback to ensure that all work within a specific area is carried out efficiently and in accordance with set individual targets. 
  • Coach and mentor subordinates and manage the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes, and practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction, and productivity improvement. 
  • Recommend enhancements and improvements to departmental policies. 
  •  Direct the implementation of procedures and controls covering all areas of Marketing activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering quality, cost-effective services. 
  • Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across the section in order to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance and a responsible environmental attitude. 

  • 8+ years relevant marketing experience in Pharmaceutical marketing including at least 3 years in positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities. 


  • Strategic marketing skills and people management experience with strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex market data and create actionable information. 


  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and regulatory environment. 


  • In-depth Knowledge of product lifecycle management, customer-centric campaign management, and marketing communications activities. 


  • Experience with CRM and marketing automation tools, market research and analysis tools, and digital marketing. 


  • Ability to build and maintain relationships and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders. 


  • Strong leadership, communication (verbal, written and presentation), Stakeholder orientation, Financial acumen and interpersonal skills.
