Our client, a global leading ICT company, is recruiting for a Core Network Engineer  to join their business in Austria.

Responsibilities: 

• Prepare, implement, test and document configuration and software changes to all core network elements

  
  

• Customer support in troubleshooting and emergency/critical problems solving

  
  

• Proactively perform regular network audits, report deviations and possible faults, correct errors

  
  

• Fault resolution based on trouble tickets, measurement reports and own observations

  
  

• Provide emergency support for the network elements according to an on-call schedule

  
  

• Knowledge transfer to co-workers, suppliers and customers.

  
  

• HW/SW commissioning, data base implementation and interoperability tests with reference equipment

  
  

• Additional project management and service sales tasks in dedicated running projects in Austria

  
  

Qualifications: 

• University degree in Telecommunications or relevant experience.

  
  

• Knowledge of one of the following technologies: Packet core network(SGSN, GGSN,MME, S-GW/P-GW), IMS, CSNGN, WCDMA-CS, OSS monitoring systems

  
  

• Skills in Linux/UNIX and additional Core Network experiences are an advantage.

  
  

• Basic knowledge and understanding of VOLTE, Fix Network, CS.

  
  

• Understanding of protocols such as Radius, Diameter, GTP, TCP/IP, etc

  
  

• Basic knowledge about routers and switches.

  
  

• Fluent language skills in English, both spoken and written.
