The project:
A major upscale residential development designed as a fully integrated community that blends luxury living, green landscapes, and modern urban amenities.
You’ll be responsible for:
Supports procurement and contract processes, including feasibility studies, strategy development, and preparation of procurement reports and contract documents.
Assists in applying value management techniques at the early stages of a project to enhance decision-making and project outcomes.
Provides estimating and cost planning support, contributing to the development of accurate and comprehensive final cost plans.
Participates in the full procurement lifecycle, ensuring effective execution of prequalification, tendering, analysis, selection, and contract preparation.
Aids in contract administration, including valuations, variation adjustments, and preparation of warranties, bonds, and licenses.
Collaborates with Cost Consultants to deliver cost control, reporting, and financial analysis throughout the project lifecycle.
Contributes to project completion processes, including issuing certificates of practical completion and final accounts, and supporting defect resolution.
Engages in team development and sustainability goals, offering guidance to junior staff, fostering internal relationships, and supporting net zero carbon initiatives.
You’ll need to have:
Degree in quantity surveying/cost management (or equivalent).
Professional membership or working towards i.e. MRICS/RICS (or equivalent), or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.
Commercial and financial acumen.
Knowledge of value engineering, life cycle costing, contract law and contractual frameworks relating to construction.
Experience of managing parts of projects within large, diverse teams.
Experience of developing relationships with key senior stakeholders.
