Logisitics Supervisor

What this position is about – Purpose

The purpose of this role is to ensure timely deliveries of finished goods for all warehouses across Egypt. As the Logistics Supervisor, you will lead a dynamic team of truck drivers, orchestrating the logistical planning and movement of final products. You'll be at the helm, managing routes, schedules, and ensuring vehicle maintenance, all while driving efficiency and excellence in our operations.

What will you do – Responsibilities

• Plan and manage the daily routes, shipments, and deliveries from the CMA company, warehouse to warehouse, and stocker deliveries across Egypt.
• Lead the logistics staff and coordinate scheduling and workloads in the most efficient manner.
• Work closely with the warehouse supervisor to monitor inventory levels and adjust finished goods’ deliveries and storage accordingly.
• Track and report performance metrics and drive improvement projects to reduce costs and enhance the quality of transportation processes.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, and work closely with the Fleet Team for all maintenance and needed enhancements for the vehicles.
• Coordinate with suppliers' coworkers and encourage them to apply the plan of On-Time-In-Full deliveries.

Whom are we looking for – Requirements

• BSc. University Degree.
• Relevant experience in logistics, warehouse, procurement, or planning areas, preferably within the FMCG industry.
• Practical knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems.
• Analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Arabic (spoken and written).
