Reimagine What’s Possible
- Act as a competent person to operate and maintain the running unit, including the mechanical systems. Oversee all activities related to operation and mechanical works for all the sites.
- Liaise closely with the regional maintenance Manager on the timing of regular preventive maintenance programs as per SAP PM02/011/03.
- Ensure that the site-specific PPE and tools are routinely inspected and audited. When necessary, escalate issues to the plant supervisor.
- Ensure the site mechanical technicians/contractors conduct proper mechanical safety practices and measures through routine audits.
- Continually improve the operation of the ASU and H2 units in Egypt.
- Optimise, develop, assist, and advise the site on all the Mechanical items sparing strategies and inventory.
- Support projects (plant projects) on mechanical matters occasionally whenever assigned by the plant supervisor and/or maintenance manager.
- Emergency response is required seven days a week/ 24 hours a day. The mechanical & operation supervisor must be able to make decisions based on consulting the plant supervisor, regional maintenance team, operations, and engineering outside of regular working hours to resolve the issue at hand. The engineer must coordinate with the different teams that must be prepared on short notice to respond to unscheduled events while maintaining safety standards and work quality.
