Production Engineer

Assist the manufacture, assembly, testing, installation and commissioning the Robotics and automation systems

·  Assist the manufacturing processes, ensuring quality work is done in a safe, efficient manner.

·  Liaise with other engineers to develop plans that improve production, costs, and labor required.

·Diagnose problems in the production line and provide recommendations and training.

·  Assist in establishing safety procedures and protocols that take the workers well-being into account, and that also minimize the carbon footprint.

·  Keep abreast of advancements in engineering and production, and share knowledge with co-workers.

·  Identify, document, and report unsafe practices.

·  Drawing up production schedules and budgets for projects.

·  Scheduling meetings with relevant departments and stakeholders.

·  Analyzing all facets of production and making recommendations for improvement.

·  Obtaining any materials and equipment required

·  Supervising  engineering and technical staff

·  writing reports and documentation

·  Provide technical support

·  Ensure safe working conditions

·  Training maintenance and operative staff where appropriate.

·  identify and recommend any update or modifying required to the designing systems/structures. 

·  Assist in developing production drawings and Bill of Material.

·  Select the components required to execute the production.

·  Assist in the development and applying test plans.

·  Might attend coordination/ kick-off meetings, as necessary.

·  Investigate the cause of equipment and system failures and fix them.

·  Recommend design modifications to ensure there will be no malfunctions in the system or in the machine.

·       Follow up all HSE Instructions
