What are my responsibilities?
- Update and implement the overall requirements management plans and procedures based on the Siemens Mobility Template.
- Supervise compliance with requirements management processes
- Clarify the requirements processes, responsibilities, and structures for RM-tool DOORS in cooperation with the subsystems involved.
- Design of instructions/drafts for requirements documents.
- Organize the training for the RM-tool DOORS for subsystems involved.
- Identify all the contractual requirements (system and process-related requirements) before the introduction of requirements into DOORS.
- Cooperate with and coordinate subsystems on responsibilities and other attributes of contractual requirements to ensure continuous traceability.
- Coordinate with civil works contractors to ensure coordination of the system's civil interface.
- Supervise and evaluate the traceability of contractual requirements, according to the V-model using DOORS in cooperation with subsystems.
- Create verification documentation for in-house system acceptance.
- Create reports for the project manager on the compliance status.
- Plan task deadlines.
- Manage the assigned team.
What do I need to qualify for this job?
- Bachelor’s Degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, preferably with railway-specific specialization.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in railway transportation systems, execution of the construction of rail projects.
- Technical knowledge of all major subsystems of a railway turnkey project, e.g. signaling, railway communication, electrification, power supply, rolling stock, SCADA, track work, etc.
- Work experience as a team member in at least one large railway project execution project.
- Knowledge of relevant IT systems and tools (e.g. DOORS, MS Office)
- Reading and understanding of contractual technical requirements.
- Knowledge of project management principles for project realization and execution.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Independent and structured approach to work
- Mediation skills between teams.
- Excellent communication abilities combined with strong interpersonal skills.
- High level of customer and quality orientation together with strong abilities in consulting and implementation.
