Overview Embed the inventory optimization processes, capability, tools and KPI’s – Provide training to target audience Run the weekly Inventory Management process and identify opportunities engaging BUs to implement. Liaise with Category & planning leads to ensure implementation of recommended inventory targets Provide inventory expert insights Contribute to the wider business understanding of the relationship between Inventory parameters setting to integrated supply chain planning KPI’s Provide support to strategic sourcing/network optimization initiatives by modelling inventory for different scenarios Contribute to design, enhance and develop the Inventory-related Analytics space Responsibilities Weekly connects with markets to review performance, highlight gaps and action plan including system adoption Prepare for each market the slides for PBR review with the LTM's - Clarity on the key messages from the data and follow-up actions Run the weekly JDA-IO modelling process. Maintain the files capturing IO variabilities (caps/Floors) and execute the process Ensure and train the IO process is understood and adopted by new users Aim to resolve any queries raised by planners , on the out-puts from IO. Follow up on ticket raised to Sustain by users Raise any new enhancement requests from markets. Testing of any new enhancements. Adoption by users. Maintain accuracy of training documents Manage adhoc force publish of SS request from markets Highlighting any opportunities to optimise inventory following inventory management process. Contribute to business understanding the relationship between Inventory parameters setting to integrated supply chain planning KPI’s Lead segmentation refresh process with the BUs Responsible to provide the Inventory Data to ensure implementation of inventory targets and support on the calculation Conduct root cause analysis on inventory & implement optimization initiative engaging BUs Report and monitor inventory (DII/DoH/Productivity) performance including cause of change in relation E2E impact (service levels, network constraints, prebuilds, etc.) Support on the design and test sector wide inventory optimisation processes & advanced models with CoE, global, Category & planning teams, data science, transformation leads and other key stakeholders (e.g. Finance, etc.) Qualifications Masters degree in Math, Economics/Econometrics, and/or Statistics required. Advanced degree preferred Functional Knowledge – Supply and inventory planning (MRP2 understanding & deployment); S&OP, inventory control Advanced excel level required (Powerquery, basic VBA, pivot tables) – Database knowledge is a strong plus Data savvy: Manage large datasets and transform them into meaningful and actionable insights Strategic Thinking Skills – Tableau, Power-BI, SQL, SQLSRV are a strong plus Strong collaboration, communication & Influencing Skills Complex & abstract problem solving skills Self-driven, proactive and able to work independently across multiple geographies - Builds relationships outside his/her sphere of influence to get things done Fluent in English and other languages is a plus Proactively shares information, best practices, and ideas with others throughout PepsiCo Demonstrates an E2E perspective when solving problems and making decisions, making the right trade-offs and balances resources to deliver results Very well organized and able to plan ahead, articulating the organizational vision and resource requirements needed to deliver results for the future Stays current with trends in the external environment and applies that information within the context of his or her job
