Job Description:
The client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional with a strong analytical and technical engineering background, preferably from the aviation or power generation sectors.
This role involves working closely with multiple functional stakeholders, including engineering, should-cost teams, cost analytics, manufacturing, and procurement.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving cost transparency, advancing process automation, and promoting proactive cost management across the organization.
The ideal candidate is self-driven, capable of translating strategic visions into actionable steps, and skilled in executing plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
They will serve as a key partner to the cost analytics team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to meet evolving team needs and priorities.
Responsibilities:
1. Cost Allocation and Budget Management:
Break down budgets into part number (PN)-level details.
Monitor and manage PN changes, ensuring alignment with company handbook values (HB).
Ensure adherence to cost management standards.
2. Process Improvement and Automation:
Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting and streamline workflows, increasing efficiency and accuracy.
Implement standardized work processes to ensure scalability and consistency across sourcing and cost management reporting.
3. Cost Analytics and Reporting:
Provide live cost visibility at a technical level to support proactive cost management.
Generate ad hoc and scheduled cost reports, tailoring insights to stakeholder needs.
Analyze cost data to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities for cost optimization.
Contribute to the enhancement of tools, processes, and systems for live cost visibility and proactive cost management.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement by recommending innovative solutions to complex cost challenges.
Develop and implement a methodology to improve purchase order allocation in line with the RITZ team’s frameworks.
4. Stakeholder Collaboration:
Partner with engineering, procurement, and manufacturing teams to ensure cost standards align with technical requirements.
Collaborate with the Product Cost Leader to support robust financial planning and PN-level execution.
5. Technical Mapping and Compliance:
Support cost mapping initiatives, ensuring alignment with company standards.
Maintain accurate documentation and cost mapping across product lines.
6. Should-Cost Expertise:
Provide support in should-cost analysis, leveraging the latest industry standards to aid decision-making.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, finance, business analytics, data science, or a related technical field.
Skills & Experience:
Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of financial and operational metrics and technical metrics.
Proficiency in data analysis tools like Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, or Excel.
Hands-on experience with should-cost analysis and part number (PN) engineering/design.
Familiarity with manufacturing environments and sourcing processes.
Other Requirements:
Exceptional communication skills with fluency in English and Hungarian(spoken and written).
Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and deliver high-impact results.
