Chartered Accountant or CPA with 0-2 years (post-qualification)
Accounting and reconciliation experience in a reputed MNC or an accounting firm is desirable - US tax compliance experience is preferred

WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
You will be part of the Global Operations team based out in Gurgaon and will assist in multi-state and city US Indirect tax filings. The role would require you to support on the compliance data requirements, handling tax notices, analyzing the accounting data for preparing audit responses, coordinating with the external vendors for the tax filings and handling the tax payments. This is an in-house role supporting the firm’s US state/city level compliances. WHAT YOU'LL DO
In this role, you will provide information for tax audits and assessments, and correspond with state and city auditors and advisors to facilitate field audits or tax return preparations. Maintaining communication with the finance office to gather information required for the tax accounting process will be essential. Additionally, you will prepare General Ledger (GL) account reconciliations and process final journals for the US tax books. Documenting the processes followed and the work performed will be a critical part of your role. You will also be assigned other tax accounting-related tasks as needed, requiring flexibility and adaptability to manage various responsibilities effectively.
