Key Responsibilities

Strategy*



Ensuring alignment with stakeholders on the development and execution of specific strategic goals regarding Liquidity & other local reporting.Identifying and implementing best practices to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy.Business*



Daily/Weekly/Monthly Metric Production: Generate, validate and explain key liquidity metrics (LCR / NSFR / CFMR / Internal Metrics), ensuring accuracy and timely submission to senior management and regulators.Understanding banking products and country specific business context and correlating these to liquidity reporting.Translating relevant regulatory requirements into business and functional requirements and driving the discussion with country stakeholders across Finance, Treasury, Risk, Data, IT and the Business for ongoing compliance in local regulatory reporting.Maintaining effective communication with stakeholders to understand their requirements and queries and provide necessary execution and consultation support.Processes*



Ensuring accurate and timely submission of all required liquidity returns to relevant senior stakeholders and/or regulatory authorities where appropriate.Ensuring the operational efficiency, accuracy and completeness of the reports are monitored with appropriate KPIs.Establishing robust governance and controls for the reporting process including the requirements to manage report quality and operational control. This includes expected data quality monitoring required in the reporting standards for regulatory reporting.Continuously striving for process optimization to enhance production efficiency and reduce errors.Leveraging technology and automation tools to streamline reporting processes.Supporting the transition of changes into BAU effectively that is aligned with the Bank’s regulatory and technology objectives.



People & Talent*
Collaborate with various teams to resolve Data quality issues in reporting. Transition changes into BAU efficiently that is aligned with the regulatory and bank’s technology objectives. Build relationships to improve collaboration across Change, Technology and Business teams to implement changes into Liquidity reporting.Risk Management*• Monitoring and ensuring that appropriate BAU and Change governance and controls are followed across all production and transformation activities.
• Maintenance of comprehensive documentation of reporting processes, standards and controls.
• Coordinating with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and reviews.
• Identifying, monitoring and escalating as and when required key issues in the regulatory reporting process leading to material errors in regulatory returns.




Risk Management*



• Monitoring and ensuring that appropriate BAU and Change governance and controls are followed across all production and transformation activities.
• Maintenance of comprehensive documentation of reporting processes, standards and controls.
• Coordinating with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and reviews.
• Identifying, monitoring and escalating as and when required key issues in the regulatory reporting process leading to material errors in regulatory returns.



Governance*
Ensure that appropriate Change governance is followed across all reporting & transformation initiatives.



Regulatory & Business Conduct

Key stakeholders
•    Regulatory Reporting India Head/GPM, Liquidity Reporting 
•    Group Regulatory Reporting – Head and Reporting Leads  
•    Credit and Market Risk functions – Functional Heads and Leads
•    Liquidity Change Management - Head and Leads across Liquidity Change
•    Country Regulatory Reporting – CFO, Financial Controller and Country Leads
•    Partner within BSM Liquidity, GCFO team and Stakeholders to Build domain expertise in the areas of Balance Sheet Management, Liquidity Risk Management, Interest Rate Risk Management, Fund Transfer Pricing, Benchmarking & Stress Test Data Framework, and the relevant policies, procedures, and practice guides, and regulatory reporting guidelines including Basel III.



Skills and Experience

Good understanding of bank’s balance sheet, financial statements and able to co-relate to risk measures.



Effectively partner with stakeholders within & outside of the immediate team.



Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively



Exposure to SQL, Advanced Excel to interrogate and extract the data for analysis.



Knowledge of Python and other automation tools is an added benefit.



Knowledge on Regulatory Systems such as Moody’s, Axiom is desired. 



Qualifications

Minimum of 2-5 years of work experience in financial reporting / regulatory reporting / treasury / balance sheet management.



Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field, CA



Professional Certification such as FRM / CFA will be an added advantage.
