Introduction to role
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Insights Analyst to join our team and play a pivotal role in transforming raw data into actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data analysis, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for uncovering hidden trends and patterns.
Translate Business Needs into Product Requirements: Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand their business objectives and translate them into clear and concise product requirements.
Data Extraction and Integration: Pull data from various sources and effectively join and map unrelated datasets to create a comprehensive view.
Metric Calculation and Documentation: Clearly explain and document the methodology and business rules used to calculate key metrics.
Data Visualization: Create informative and visually appealing data visualizations to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
Data Governance: Adhere to data governance standards and best practices to maintain data quality and integrity.
Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience working in a role associated with reporting, analytics, and/or data management.
Strong proficiency in SQL, EXCEL.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI).
Good with Data Modelling, Power Query and RLS techniques in Power BI.
Well versed in working with different DAX functions.
Knowledge of industry standards and trends.
Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Knowledge in python.
Work Experience with Jira and Figma tools will be a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Data Insights Analyst, Business Intelligence Developer or a similar role.
