Azure Infrastructure Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Primary Skill : Azure Infrastructure, Networking, Azure Services, Terraform

• Design, configure, and manage Azure infrastructure components — including Compute, Networking, Storage, and Identity services.

  
  

• Support implementation projects, including environment setup, workload migration, and post-deployment stabilization.

  
  

• Manage ongoing operations and monitoring of Azure environments, ensuring performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.

  
  

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for consistent, repeatable infrastructure provisioning.

  
  

• Maintain and troubleshoot Azure networking components such as VNets, Subnets, NSGs, Load Balancers, VPN Gateways, and ExpressRoute.

  
  

• Apply best practices for security, governance, and compliance in Azure.

  
  

• Collaborate with service management teams to resolve incidents, perform root cause analysis, and deliver continuous improvement.

  
  

• Document infrastructure setups, configurations, and operational runbooks.

  
  

• Stay current with Azure platform enhancements and recommend improvements where applicable.

  
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Services (IaaS, Networking, Security, Storage, Compute).

  
  

• Strong experience in Azure Networking — including hybrid connectivity (VPN, ExpressRoute), load balancing, routing, and security configurations.

  
  

• Working knowledge of Terraform for Azure infrastructure automation.

  
  

• Familiarity with Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates and Azure management tools.

  
  

• Experience in managing identity and access through Azure Active Directory and RBAC.

  
  

• Experience in supporting incident and change management within a managed services model.

  
  

• Solid troubleshooting and problem-resolution skills across infrastructure and networking layers.

  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.

  
  

• Exposure to hybrid environments integrating on-premises and Azure workloads.

  
  

• Familiarity with PowerShell or Azure CLI for scripting and automation.

  
  

• CCNA certification - Optional
