Backend Engineer

This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Salary range: Rs 4000000 - Rs 5000000 (ie INR 40-50 LPA) Min Experience: 8 years Location: Bangalore JobType: full-time Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent hands-on industry experience.
8–10 years of experience in backend development for SaaS platforms or large-scale applications .
Strong proficiency in Node.
js , including RESTful APIs and GraphQL, with solid working knowledge of Python .
Extensive experience with MongoDB and in-memory caching solutions such as Redis .
Hands-on experience deploying and managing workloads on Microsoft Azure , including App Services, AKS, and Azure Functions.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines , Docker , and Kubernetes for automated builds and deployments.
Strong capabilities in testing, debugging, and system observability .
Good understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and event-driven design .
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
