Overview:
The Customer Access BizOps team is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to help strengthen platform reliability, improve CI/CD capabilities, and advance DevOps automation across Mastercard.

The team plays a key role in the DevOps transformation—standardizing operations, centralizing support interactions, and creating continuous feedback loops to enhance customer experience.
Role Responsibilities-
Support the full lifecycle of services—from design and deployment to operations and improvement.
Analyze ITSM data to identify operational gaps and provide feedback to development teams.
Prepare services for launch through capacity planning, design consulting, and readiness reviews.
Monitor live services for availability, latency, and system health.
Improve reliability and speed through automation and sustainable scaling practices.
Own and enhance the CI/CD pipeline, enforcing validation gates and DevOps best practices.
Drive effective incident response and lead blameless postmortems.
Troubleshoot across the full technology stack during production events.
Collaborate with global teams across time zones.
Mentor junior team members and share knowledge.
Required Skills-
BS in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent experience.
Strong fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, scripting, and software design.
Ability to debug, optimize, and automate code and processes.
Experience working with diverse stakeholders and making timely decisions.
Proficiency in one or more languages: Java, Python, Go, C/C++, Ruby, Perl.
Interest in distributed systems and large-scale architecture.
Exposure to AWS is a plus.
Preferred DevOps/CI-CD Experience-
Git/Bitbucket, Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory, Chef
Designing and implementing efficient CI/CD pipelines with minimal manual effort
