Position: C++ Technical Architect – Medical Device Software
We are seeking a seasoned C++ Technical Architect to design and develop complex, high-performance software systems for medical devices. This role involves driving architectural excellence, leading technical discussions, and collaborating across cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions in regulated environments. The architect will create and maintain design artifacts, mentor development teams, and ensure compliance with industry standards while fostering innovation and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 12+ years of professional experience in C++ software development
• Minimum 3 years as a Technical Architect in complex software environments
• Strong expertise in modern C++ (C++11/14/17/20) and object-oriented design
• Hands-on experience with multi-threaded, real-time, and performance-critical applications
• In-depth knowledge of software architecture patterns (e.g., modular design, microservices)
• Familiarity with Git, CMake, static code analyzers, and CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of secure coding practices and SDLC in regulated environments
• Excellent communication and technical leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in medical device software or other regulated industries (automotive, aerospace, healthcare)
• Knowledge of IEC 62304, ISO 14971, or similar regulatory standards
