Industry/Service Higher Education Job Purpose This position plays a vital role in marketing IIMB’s open programmes to working executives, corporates, and institutions. This position requires strategic thinking, exceptional management capabilities, and a strong commitment to customer experience. Principal Accountabilities & Responsibilities Program Management: Develop the EEP open annual calendar in collaboration with faculty;
Coordinate closely with the sales team and the operations team to ensure excellent customer
experience; Manage the lifecycle of programs - from developing top class marketing collaterals, lead generation, conversions, to program execution.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build, maintain, and enhance relationships with corporate clients, alumni, and industry associations to promote EEP open programs; Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including faculty, digital marketing team, and sales managers through close monitoring and follow ups on leads generation and closure; Familiarity with current global trends in learning and development in the management and business space would be an advantage.
Market Analysis and Strategy: Conduct research to identify trends in the executive education market and recommend strategies for expanding program offerings; Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote programs, increase enrollment and enhancing the business school’s brand; Should be strong on Digital Marketing, suggest appropriate Digital Marketing and other Media
Strategies.
Operational Oversight: Have an oversight operational aspects of program delivery, including logistics, scheduling, and resource allocation through close coordination with the operations team; Manage budgeting processes and financial reporting for executive education programs, ensuring profitability and sustainability.
Quality Assurance and Improvement: Establish metrics for program success and gather feedback from participants to make continuous improvements; Monitor program outcomes and impact, reporting results to relevant stakeholders.
- Team Leadership and Development: Lead the Short Duration and Long Duration sales teams (~10 nos) and foster a collaborative and high-performance culture; Should be sales and outcome oriented; Should have excellent people management skills; Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members.
Key Skill and Ability Requirements - Strong people and marketing skills especially in Digital Marketing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with proven ability to evaluate program effectiveness and make data-driven
decisions. - Proficiency in budget management, marketing, and curriculum design.
- Be self-motivated and self-driven to take ownership of tasks and ensure timely completion.
Qualification and Personal Profile - The candidate should be a Postgraduate or MBA.
- A minimum of 12 years of experience in Sales and Marketing in a B2B or a B2C environment OR must be a Learning & Development professional with a leading organization.
