Role Description
As part of the Chief Data Office, the role will be supporting the Head Data Management Life Cycle the design, documentation, and implementation of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that ensure compliance with our Data Management Standards. In partnership with the respective CDO expert teams, you will design and maintain the overall data metrics and KPI inventory and underlying methodology and serve as the guardian of our data metric, playing a crucial role in driving data excellence across the organization.The team will collaborate with cross-functional and global teams, working with multiple stakeholders across DWS and Deutsche Bank.

Your key responsibilities
- Design and Develop KPIs:
- Craft comprehensive KPIs that align with the Data Management Standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data processes and identify key measurement areas.
- Utilize data analytics tools to establish benchmarks and set realistic targets.
- Documentation and Standards Compliance:
- Create detailed documentation outlining KPI methodologies, definitions, and calculation methods.
- Ensure that all KPIs adhere to internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
- Maintain an up-to-date repository of KPI documentation accessible to relevant stakeholders.
- Implementation and Monitoring:
- Lead the rollout of KPIs across various departments, ensuring seamless integration.
- Develop dashboards and reporting tools to monitor KPI performance in real-time.
- Identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement through data analysis.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Work closely with the Chief Data Officer and senior leadership to align KPIs with strategic objectives.
- Communicate insights and findings to non-technical audiences effectively.
- Provide training and support to teams on interpreting and utilizing KPIs.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Regularly review and refine KPIs to reflect changing business needs and emerging data trends.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices in data management and performance measurement.
- Implement feedback loops to incorporate user insights into KPI enhancements.
Your skills and experience
- Minimum of 5 years experience in data management, analytics, or KPI development roles.
- Proven track record of implementing KPIs that drove compliance and improved data quality.
- Proficiency in data analytics tools such as SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of Data Management Standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Experience with data governance frameworks and metadata management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex data concepts to diverse audiences.
- Collaborative mindset with a knack for building relationships across departments.
