Electrical Design Engineer

Job Description Good understanding of complex power calculation and estimation, electrical concepts like three phase power calculations. Design and review of electrical distribution systems for industrial, residential and commercial building applications . Preparation/ checking of single line diagram with protection and metering requirement. Preparation/ checking of detailed calculation for major electrical equipment like transformer, DG’s, Capacitor bank, UPS, Battery & Battery charger, Neutral Grounding resistor, etc. Preparation/ checking of detailed design calculation for earthing, lighting, cable sizing, cable tray/ trench sizing, Fire alarm system, telephone system, public address system, lightning Protection,electrical Load list, cable schedule etc. Vendor document review (Electrical equipment). Knowledge on electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and other technical documentation. Requirements Bachelor's in Electrical Engineer. 6+ year's experience in Electrical Design into Industrial/Commercial/Residential projects. Proficiency with electrical design software such as AutoCAD Electrical, Etap, DIALux, etc are desirable. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, such as NEC, NBC, IS, IEC, and UL.
