Engineering Manager

Master-Works is looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our talented engineering team.
In this role, you will oversee the development and execution of engineering projects while fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
You will be responsible for mentoring team members, managing performance, and ensuring project timelines are met.
Key Responsibilities: 7+ years of experience in software engineering with a strong technical foundation.
2+ years of experience managing cross-functional teams, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management.
Proven success working in startups and fast-paced product-driven environments.
Expertise in executing complex projects across multiple teams with a focus on quality and timelines.
Strong experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
Adept at identifying and mitigating project risks, removing blockers, and handling escalations effectively.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, ensuring alignment across product, design, QA, and leadership teams.
Passionate about building high-performing teams, fostering collaboration, and delivering scalable solutions.
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
5+ years of experience in a software engineering role, with at least 2 years in a management capacity.
Proven experience in managing engineering teams and delivering complex projects.
Strong technical background in software development methodologies and practices.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to think strategically and drive initiatives from conception to completion.
Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
Exposure to the AI/ML product lifecycle , with an understanding of model development, deployment, and monitoring.
Familiarity with major cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS) .
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps practices for streamlined and automated deployments.
