You will be part of CNCS R&D team in the Product & Engineering, IP Telephony (IPT) organization. The Cloud Native Communication Suite (CNCS) is the newest product in Nokia’s Core Networks portfolio. It provides a simplified IMS solution by consolidating multiple core network functions viz SBC, TAS, CSCF, MRF within a single CNF. This provides multiple optimizations over existing IMS core solutions.

As a R&D Manager, you will 

• Lead a team of engineers that will develop, integrate and test complex VoLTE features in CNCS for some of the top CSPs in the world. 
• Own functional areas and components and be responsible for their quality, future design and enhancements.
• Interact with Architects, System Test experts, Project Managers, Peer Line managers to make releases happen. 
• Lead from front in engaging with Customers, Customer facing teams to ensure timely resolution of issues and providing RCA and internalizing the learnings. 
• Ensure a vibrant work environment, set targets, be a mentor and get the best out of the team. 

• Atleast 12 years of experience in Networking or Telecommunications Networks
• More than 4 years of experience in directly leading teams as a Manager, or as a Scrum Master. 
• Strong leadership and execution skills keeping Quality, Timeline and Customer needs at the forefront.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams across RnDs with good communication skills
• Experience with Agile frameworks and techniques such as Scrum, Kanban and Continuous Delivery
• Good knowledge of SIP, Diameter and Telecom Domain Knowledge (VoLTE, IMS)
• Experienced  in Cloud and Cloud Native Technologies (Kubernetes (K8s), Docker, Consul, Redis, Helm, Envoy)
• Proven experience in Development or Testing of large, complex features 
• Team player with proven ability to work in a diverse team environment to achieve stiff and challenging targets
