JOB DESCRIPTION — Executive Head hunter (Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist – Leadership & Technical Hiring) About the Role We are seeking a high-caliber Executive Headhunter to lead all leadership, management, and specialized technical hiring for our India operations.
This role is mission-critical; we cannot afford mis-hires and therefore requires someone with proven experience in executive search, strong market intelligence, and the ability to identify, attract, and close senior-level talent across IT, call center operations, engineering, product, and business functions.
The ideal candidate is someone who already knows the Indian hiring landscape inside out including recruitment channels, databases, tools, sourcing strategies, compensation benchmarking, and regional talent nuances.
You will own the end-to-end search cycle for VP-level, Director-level, and Senior Manager-level roles, ensuring only the best talent in the market enters our leadership pipeline.
This is not a standard recruiter role; it requires strategic headhunting, deep research ability, persistence, confidentiality, and exceptional judgement.
Key Responsibilities1.
Executive & Leadership Hiring Lead full-cycle recruitment for senior management, upper-level technical roles, and high-impact operational positions.
Build & manage leadership pipelines for future workforce planning.
Conduct deep research on competitors, talent pools, and market movement.
2. Strategic Headhunting & Talent Mapping Execute India-specific headhunting strategies via direct sourcing, referrals, passive-candidate engagement, networking groups, and targeted outreach.
Perform comprehensive talent mapping across industries such as IT, BPO, SaaS, Call Center Operations, and Corporate Functions.
Identify candidates who are not actively searching, but are top performers in their current organizations.
3. Sourcing & Recruitment Tools Expertise Expert in using major India hiring tools: Naukri, LinkedIn Recruiter, iimjobs, Indeed, Hirect Social sourcing, boolean search, X-ray search Internal ATS or CRM systems Ability to create complex multi-channel sourcing funnels.
4. Screening, Evaluation & Assessment Conduct advanced leadership interviews focusing on: Technical depth Management maturity Decision-making aptitude Culture & long-term fit Oversee evaluation frameworks to ensure zero-compromise hiring.
5. Offer Management & Closing Evaluate market compensation and negotiate senior-level offers.
Ensure smooth onboarding and stakeholder alignment.
Maintain high confidentiality throughout the process.
6. Stakeholder Management Act as a trusted advisor to founders, executives, and department heads.
Understand business goals and translate them into talent acquisition strategies.
Provide weekly dashboards, hiring forecasts, and talent insights.
Required Experience & SkillsExperience 8 to 12 years of solid experience in executive search, leadership hiring, or high-end recruitment in India.
Proven success in filling Director, VP, Senior Manager, or niche technical roles.
Experience with IT and/or BPO/Call Center hiring preferred.
