Key Responsibilities:
• 3-5 years of experience in government sales with a focus on cloud services or technology. • New Business Acquisition: Identify and pursue cloud sales opportunities within government agencies, positioning cloud solutions to address the unique needs of public sector clients. • Government Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with government stakeholders, ensuring long-term partnerships and maximizing client satisfaction. • Government Procurement Navigation: Lead the sales process, from RFP responses and bid submissions to contract negotiations, ensuring compliance with government procurement regulations. • Sales Strategy Development: Create tailored sales strategies that align cloud offerings with the specific priorities and challenges of government clients, including cybersecurity, scalability, and compliance. • Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with technical, legal, and operations teams to develop customized cloud solutions that meet government standards and drive value for clients. • Pipeline Management: Manage and grow the sales pipeline, ensuring a consistent flow of opportunities and accurate forecasting to achieve and exceed revenue targets. • Client Advocacy: Serve as the primary point of contact for government clients, resolving issues efficiently and fostering trust to ensure high retention and satisfaction. • Industry Expertise: Stay informed about government cloud initiatives, compliance requirements, and industry trends to effectively position cloud solutions.
