Graduate Traffic Engineer

Your Key Responsibilities
1. Assist in preparing signing/marking and signal plans using AutoCAD/MicroStation software programs.
2. Assist in analyzing large-scale traffic datasets to support transport modelling and traffic engineering studies.
3. Assist in transport modelling and traffic engineering (TIA, Parking etc) reports.
4. Plan, program and coordinate own workload to deliver the agreed outputs: on time; on budget; and to specified quality standards.
5. Assist in projects involving the development, review and presentation of plans, policies and submissions for clients as required.
6. Elementary knowledge in some of the following software packages will be a plus: AutoCAD/MicroStation and either of VISSIM, SIDRA, Synchro.
7. Internship experience on international projects is a plus.
8. Assist in report writing on projects.
9. Maintain communication within project team(s).

10. Ability to take directions from senior engineers and execute them efficiently.
11. Willingness to learn and a positive, can-do attitude.
12. Proficient in Microsoft (MS) Office Suite
13. Effective communicator and able to work under tight schedule
14. Good organizational and problem resolutions skills.
15. Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of staff, technical specialists
16. Good interpersonal skills.
Education and Experience
1. A Master’s degree in Traffic Engineering/Transport Planning/Transportation Systems Engineering from a reputable institute. Internship experience in Traffic Engineering will be a plus.
2. Software Skills:3. AutoCAD/MicroStation and either of VISSIM, SIDRA, Synchro is a plus.
- Elementary knowledge of International Design Guides (AASHTO, DMRB, Austroads or similar) is a plus.
