Who we are looking for:


State Street is looking for a dynamic and experienced Head of Talent Acquisition to lead the overall hiring efforts across our Global Delivery business - the backbone of our operational capabilities. This role will lead a global team of recruiting and support specialists, utilizing productivity metrics, with full cycle responsibility for managing the entire process of experienced hires for this global business including delivering on the inclusion and diversity mandates. They will partner with the senior.HR Business Partners and senior Business Leadership teams to set global functional priorities and lead the execution efforts. This role is Bangalore / Hyderabad based and reports to the Head of Talent Acquisition COO, Wealth & Alpha with matrix reporting to Head of Talent Acquisition IS , EMEA & APAC

Collectively, the teams in Global delivery support our businesses across Investment Services, Global Markets and CRD / Alpha and help us be the best partner, collaborator, and innovator to the clients we serve.


This critical leadership role is responsible for leading the recruitment function supporting these business-critical hires and supporting a business undergoing significant transformation and integration of the joint ventures while enabling them to meet their evolving business needs.


Role Responsibilities


  • Actively partner with the Business Leaders and the Sr. HR Business Partners to understand future talent needs and devise and execute (flawlessly) a comprehensive plan to be able to flawlessly execute on the same considering diversity and inclusion priorities.
  • Always striving for a diverse and inclusive culture, in our approach and processes with our clients, candidates and employees.
  • Advise key business leaders on the ever-changing hiring trends as a subject matter expert.
  • Own the execution of the hiring plans to best position these businesses in the marketplace to be able to attract the best and brightest talent supporting our strategy to be the destination for the best talent.
  • Serve as a key partner with the Head of Talent Mobility & internal Recruiting to fully leverage the internal employee base as a critical sourcing strategy to match resource demands.
  • Implement innovative sourcing techniques to deliver better results as it pertains to diversity hiring, time to offer and cost associated with hiring external vendors.
  • Lead and manage a global team of recruiting and support specialists including managing for high performance and productivity.
  • Engage and manage key stake holders to review the progress of recruiting efforts, share competitor intelligence fine tune recruiting needs.
  • Actively monitor and manage key performance indicators (i.e., time to offer, aged requisitions) partner to developing action plans to escalate and resolve issues with a view to delivery best in class services to the businesses.
  • Carry a small requisition load - senior business critical roles with a high degree of profile and visibility across the business units and operate as a player-coach.

Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a in-house global talent acquisition leader or equivalent experience with a best-in-class organization with deep functional expertise in recruiting within Financial Services
  • Extensive experience working with senior business stakeholders coupled with strong Relationship Management and Strategic Execution skills.
  • Competency with Human Resources technology (Workday or equivalent) and applicant management systems needed.
  • Ability to forge successful partnerships across organizational and geographic boundaries.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of candidates, hiring managers, recruiting and HR business partners.
  • Proven leadership skills with a track record of developing talent.
