Summary: As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will assist in defining requirements, designing and building data center technology components and testing efforts. A typical day involves collaborating with various teams to ensure that the infrastructure meets the operational needs, troubleshooting issues that arise, and implementing solutions to enhance system performance. You will also engage in discussions to refine project specifications and contribute to the overall strategy for infrastructure development, ensuring that all components work seamlessly together to support organizational goals. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of infrastructure components, making recommendations for enhancements. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in EMC Storage Area Network (SAN) Administration.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with NAS Architecture and Design.
- Strong understanding of data center operations and management.
- Experience with virtualization technologies and their integration with storage solutions.
- Familiarity with backup and recovery solutions to ensure data integrity and availability. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in EMC Storage Area Network (SAN) Administration.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
