We are looking for a System Administrator to maintain, upgrade and manage our software, hardware and networks.
You should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly. You should also have the patience to communicate with a variety of interdisciplinary teams and users.
Your goal will be to ensure that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.
Education and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science
- Minimum 2 year of experience in dealing with international clients
- Experience of working with teams of English-speaking countries
Responsibilities
- Install and configure software and hardware
- Manage network, servers and technology tools
- Set up accounts and workstations
- Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements
- Troubleshoot issues and outages
- Upgrade systems with new releases and models
- Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies
- Resolve ServiceNow Tickets within SLA
Requirements and skills
- Proven experience as a System Administrator
- Experience with Hardware, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management
- Knowledge of system security and data backup/recovery
- Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms
- Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Effective interpersonal skills and relationship-building skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills (Must have)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail
- Must be a team player but should also understand the importance of individual contributions
- Self-motivated and directed, able to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Must be flexible to work any shift in a 24/7 operation including night shifts
- Candidate should be open for transfer to another location or office, if the job requires so or in the interest of the business requirements
- The work location will be decided by the Organization depending upon the business requirement
- Candidate should be amendable to work from office
