Role Summary
The Network Product Services DevOps group is looking for skilled DevOps Engineers to join our growing team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play an important role in building, deploying, and maintaining network automation software products. You will work closely with developers, architects, site reliability engineering, operations, and IT security teams to ensure our systems are robust, scalable, and secure. A key focus of this role is implementing agentic workflows and AI-driven automation to enhance our DevOps pipelines, including intelligent ticket triage, automated incident response, and self-healing infrastructure capabilities. This role requires a combination of strong technical expertise in DevOps practices and networking fundamentals, along with a dedication to providing reliable incident support for our production systems.
What You'll Be Doing
CI/CD & Automation
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes for network automation products
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Helm charts, CloudFormation, and Ansible
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployments
• Continuously improve automation coverage to reduce manual intervention and increase system reliability
Cloud Infrastructure & Operations
• Deploy, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure on Azure, AWS, or GCP platforms
• Manage containerized workloads using Kubernetes and Docker, ensuring high availability and scalability
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog
• Collaborate with security teams to implement and maintain security best practices across all infrastructure
Network Operations & Support
• Support network automation software products, understanding the relationship between DevOps infrastructure and network components
• Fix and resolve issues related to network automation platforms and their integration with underlying infrastructure
• Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation to provide incident support for production systems
• Respond to and resolve production incidents, conducting root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures
• Document runbooks, standard operating procedures, and post-incident reports
Teamwork & Continuous Improvement
• Work closely with software development teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of applications
• Collaborate with SRE and operations teams to improve system reliability and performance
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives
• Stay ahead of with emerging DevOps technologies, tools, and guidelines
What You'll Bring
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• validated experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or related roles
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps
• Proficiency with containerization technologies including Kubernetes and Docker
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Helm
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Programming/scripting skills in Python, Shell/Bash, or similar languages
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, firewalls)
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation and respond to production incidents
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work optimally in a distributed team
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience building agentic workflows or AI-driven automation systems
• Familiarity with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Azure OpenAI) and prompt engineering
• Experience with agent frameworks such as LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI, or Model Context Protocol (MCP)
• Knowledge of RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems and vector databases
• Experience with network automation tools and frameworks
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK stack)
• Azure/AWS certifications, Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or DevOps certifications
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Knowledge of security standards and compliance frameworks
• Experience working in financial services or regulated industries
