The opportunity:

As a Software Engineer you will utilize your knowledge and experience to perform systems analysis, research, maintenance, troubleshooting and other programming activities. You become a member of one of our Agile based project teams, focusing on product development. It is an exciting opportunity to design and implement solutions for enterprise level systems.

What the role offers: 

• As a lead engineer, you should have deep design and coding skills. 
• Takes on complex problems, designs and codes.
• You are not only expected to deliver in your area but also contribute to the overall team and product space. 
• You are expected to lead the technical innovation within your product area. 
• You are the technical expert in your area. 
• Preparing high-level & low-level design documents and involve in development of software
• Provides hands-on technical leadership and guidance to junior team members 
• Participates in and drives design sessions in the team.
• Work with Quality Assurance to transfer knowledge and develop the test strategy and validate the test plan 
• Technical risk assessment, problem solving, early risk notification, report progress and status to manager and/or Scrum master.
• Assist in task planning, estimation, scheduling and staffing
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers
• Grow engineering teams by interviewing, recruiting, and hiring
• Stay on the leading edge of development practices
• Work in close partnership with cross-functional teams and management

What you need to succeed: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 8+ years of experience in software development.
• Ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision. 
• Ability to work in deadline driven environment and respond creatively to pressure. 
• As a Lead Engineer, you should be able to prioritize well, communicate clearly, work across multiple facets of the project and juggle multiple 
• Excellent analytical skills
• Excellent trouble-shooting skills. 
• Hands on expertise in OOPs, Java/J2EE
• Experience working on any one Application servers (Tomcat, BEA Weblogic, IBM Websphere, JBoss)
• Hands on expertise in Database design and strong knowledge of SQL/PLSQL
• Hands on expertise in designing/development (design patterns) and testing of enterprise class systems.
• Hands on expertise in UI design and development using technologies like Angular/React
• Hands on expertise in Spring, Spring boot, Hibernate, RESTFul Services.
• Hands on expertise in Rest Security like OAuth, JWT
• Hands on expertise in Solr/Zookeeper 
• Strong communication skills - verbal, written and listening
• Excellent trouble-shooting skills. 
• Experienced working in an agile environment
• Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams and management to collect requirements, identify tasks, provides estimates and meets production deadlines
