Lead Software Engineer (Java or C++)

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

• 5 years of experience in expertise either Java or C++
• Strong experience working with relational database systems and advanced SQL preferably DB2 
• Proven experience designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-scale applications
• Extensive experience analyzing, debugging, and reverse-engineering complex legacy codebases
• Proficiency with Linux commands, shell scripting, and server-side troubleshooting
• Knowledge in AWS components [S3, ECS , RDS ,SQS]

It would be great if you also had

• Python
• Jenkins
• Github
• Postgres

What will you be doing in this role:

• Participates in team activities such as backlog grooming, planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Understands functional and technical requirements of software components.
• Should have good analytical, debugging & tracing skills.
• Should be able to consistently delivers solid quality in both design and implementation.
• Co-ordinate well with- in and cross functional teams.
• Maintain, refactor, and enhance existing codebases to improve functionality and performance.
• Be responsible for troubleshooting, and fixing production issues to ensure continuous system reliability, stability, and performance.
