Role Description
This role is part of Centre for International Compliance Operations (CICO) which involves leading the team to support the Market Compliance Officers (MCO) and Line of Business Compliance Officers (LOBCOs) & their teams in compliance operational activities on behalf of/in partnership with their teams. The person shall ensure timely execution of operational activities within prescribed Service Level Agreements. The person shall be responsible for efficiency and effectiveness of the team in executing work and monitor key performance indicators such as timeliness & accuracy. Regular and timely dialogue and communication on the progress of the work with the local Market Compliance Officers. Collaborate with Market Compliance Officer team to identify new areas of work to be supported by the team. Managing the team and timely completion of activities for all the markets covered in its annual plan is critical.
Purpose of the Role:
To uplift the International compliance program through (i) standardization and centralization of existing compliance activities ;(ii) adopt best practices to drive operational efficiencies and (iii) launch of new compliance activities

Past Experience:
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in internal audit/consultancy within the Big Four or in a bank/financial institution background.
• The ideal candidate would be someone from a mix of Big 4 audit background plus internal audit experience in a bank/financial institution.
Academic Background:
• Good academic qualification with experience in compliance, CA or legal would be an added advantage.
Functional Skills/Capabilities:
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English
• Ability to think in a logical manner and document in a clear and concise manner of the testing work papers
• Ability to work independently from the design of compliance test plan, execution of fieldwork testing, communication of findings to business and to reporting phase
• Capable of executing task independently with minimal supervision
