We are looking for a Senior Graphic Designer to join our expanding Enterprise In-House Creative team.
The Senior Graphic Designer will take a hands-on role in crafting communications that drive engagement, deliver on business objectives and build brand loyalty. As a People Leader, you will also manage a team of designers and oversee their work to ensure it meets quality standards and is on brand and on time.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Listening, asking, prioritizing and translating key messages into creative concepts and designs
• Ensuring consistent and respectful communication to Guardian’s various audiences, in keeping with overall brand standards
• Setting quality standards for design team and providing ongoing feedback to meet standards
• Overseeing team of graphic designers and ensuring projects are on brand and on time
• Ability to organize and architect information into visual solutions that stop the scroll and drive engagement
• Consultation with internal client partners on tactical and creative approach
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree and portfolio or portfolio link required
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a creative services position, preferably including prior employment with an advertising agency, corporate marketing organization, or digital agency
• Management experience is a plus
• Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite
• Proficiency with Figma
• Familiarity with front end design/development
• Working knowledge of outlook email client and template design is a plus
• Demonstrated talent for high-caliber design and digital storytelling
• Proven ability to solve problems, architect information
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, matrix-oriented environment
• Strong relationship management skills: ability to foster collaboration, value other perspectives
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
