We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Maximo Trainer to deliver tailored training sessions on IBM Maximo and maintenance processes, both onshore and offshore. This role requires from time-to-time travel to vessels to train crew members in real-world environments. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, analytical person, and empathetic trainer who can adapt to diverse audiences and working conditions.
Your responsibilitiesConduct in-person Maximo training sessions onboard vessels for crew members mostly in Asia Pacific region.
Adapt training content to meet the specific needs of maritime maintenance operations.
Deliver workshops and hands-on sessions to enhance practical Maximo usage and maintenance best practices.
Create engaging, process-driven training materials, including manuals and interactive content.
Develop real-life scenarios tailored to vessel operations for practical learning.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify training needs for onshore and offshore teams.
Gather feedback from participants to continuously refine training methods and materials.
Provide post-training support, including follow-up sessions and troubleshooting assistance.
Function as a resource for ongoing system optimization and skill development.
Travel to vessels to conduct on-site training sessions.
Adjust training strategies based on the unique challenges of working aboard ships.
Strong experience with IBM Maximo and a deep understanding of maintenance processes.
Ability to think in terms of processes and optimize system workflows.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
Strong critical thinking skills and a high level of adaptability.
Empathy and active listening to understand and address the needs of crew members.
Willingness and ability to travel to vessels.
Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design.
Experience in a maritime or offshore maintenance environment.
Certification in Maximo or related systems is a plus.
