The Offering Manager for Data Management Services is a critical role responsible for developing and managing Lenovo’s comprehensive Data Management Services portfolio. This includes defining strategy, capabilities, and go-to-market execution across data storage, data governance, data migration, and data lifecycle management. The role ensures that Lenovo’s service offerings enable customers to optimize the value, security, and compliance of their data across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
Portfolio Strategy & Development – Define and execute the Data Management Services portfolio strategy, covering data storage and governance, migration, protection, retention, and lifecycle management.
Offering Definition – Translate customer and market requirements into well-defined service offers, pricing models, and service delivery frameworks.
Lifecycle Management – Own the end-to-end lifecycle of the portfolio, including roadmap, continuous improvement, and end-of-life planning.
Cross-Functional Leadership – Collaborate with Product Engineering, Professional Services, Managed Services, and Global Delivery teams to align capabilities and ensure seamless execution.
Partner Ecosystem Integration – Build and manage alliances with key data management and cloud ecosystem partners (e.g., AWS, Microsoft, Google, IBM, Veeam, Commvault, etc.) to enhance Lenovo’s portfolio value.
Market Analysis & Positioning – Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities for differentiation.
Enablement & GTM Support – Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Enablement teams to define value propositions, sales collateral, and training to drive adoption.
Financial Performance – Define pricing structures and cost models to ensure profitability and competitive positioning.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
8+ years of experience in service offering management, product management, or solution architecture for data or cloud services.
Deep understanding of data management and storage disciplines, including governance, security, migration, and lifecycle optimization.
Experience with hybrid and multi-cloud environments and associated tools and platforms.
Proven ability to translate technical capabilities into customer-focused service offerings.
Strong business acumen and experience managing cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Experience with data management technologies (e.g., NetApp, Databricks, Veeam, Commvault, WEKA, Cloudera).
Familiarity with ITIL, ISO 27001, and other data governance and compliance frameworks.
Strong understanding of managed services, automation, and AI-driven data optimization.
