Principal Product Manager – Technical, Kuiper Consumer Services
Amazon’s Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved customers around the world. Kuiper Consumer Services is looking for a talented Principal Product Manager - Technical to lead our multi-household product for the South and South East Asia consumer business. You will be responsible for driving roadmap, requirements and solution delivery. You will work with customers, and partners to refine requirements, understand constraints, anticipate emergency and future capability needs, and iteratively deliver value to our customers. A successful candidate will be entrepreneurial, highly analytical, articulate, and should be able to work effectively in a matrixed organization. The candidate should also be adept at understanding how broadband businesses work in the region. We are looking for someone who is customer obsessed and technology savvy, with a proven track record of leading new initiatives, especially in consumer tech products and services.

Key job responsibilities
- Work across Kuiper teams and customers to build multi-household product requirements, roadmap, and solution delivery
- Manage the entire product life cycle from inception to launch
- Understand and articulate customer needs, conduct on-going research, leverage internal knowledge and expertise, and prioritize feature requirements
- Understand and synthesize wired and wireless technologies to define leading edge multi-household solutions for our customers
- Write detailed product requirements documents and define use cases, features and KPIs and drive trade-off discussions and decisions.
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience technical product management
- Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
- Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement
