Job DescriptionThe Program Manager will support the sale and manage the development and/or delivery of integrated solutions to an external customer, or in support of an enterprise-wide program, often involving multi-function and multi-vendor efforts. Determines overall program/project plan, budget, structure and schedule. Drives and delivers expected results according to agreed project scope, cost, quality and timeline milestones. Accountable for risk assessment, including effectively identifying and communicating risks to stakeholders. Serves as a direct contact between customers and/or Agilent project stakeholders. Assists external customer in the definition and implementation of complex integrated solutions requiring relevant products and/or services. Tracks estimated project revenues, costs, expenses and profits against defined metrics and communicates deviations to relevant stakeholders. Coordinates internal and external project team members’ contribution, including working with third party vendors to complete project activities.
Highly skilled professional with functional breadth and specialized depth in area of responsibility, plus expertise in complementary fields.
Identifies and reduces broad concepts and strategies into structured projects to achieve innovative and effective solutions to critical and complex problems.
Leads or contributes to the development of new projects/programs/processes, acting as the key technical contributor for area of responsibility.
Self-initiated assignments; operates independently.
Consults management on critical issues and long-range goals; determines own tactical and strategic priorities.
Uses advanced approaches and concepts to solve complex, high-impact design/development problems where information is seldom available.
May be functional/technical team lead, mentor, or trainer to others.
May supervise up to three Individual Contributor B (ICB) or combination of ICA/ICB employees.
Leads or represents the organization in major or large-scale projects requiring specialized expertise and impacting internal and/or external stakeholders.
Primary resource and escalation point for senior leadership and internal or external partners and customers on major policies, plans, and objectives.
Primary roles and responsibilities;
- Registrations IVD and RUO:
- Gather overview from countries and partners. Challenge with business cases and create solid arguments to convince Divisions to register products. With Divisions, RA and Product Marketing drive in-take process and prioritizations of registrations.
- Actively arrange 3rd party outsourcing to lift registrational burden locally. If RA allows create a base package for each product to be sent to regulatory bodies to be listed in a library for partners downloads.
- Develop new Business Models:
- Support aVP in program for going Hybrid from either a Direct or Indirect sales channel.
- With aVP iron out speed bumps to develop a model & partner contract allowing for Agilent placements of instruments & still have partner doing service, application, logistics & Sales
- With aVP and Agilent Finance Solution work out leasing models to improve partner cash flows in major tender projects.
- Create one APAC voice to get FSE trained – make business cases for launch products and new markets.
- Drive Digital infrastructure that is mainly build for EU and US. Remove obstacles and work with project.
- Ensure CRM discipline amongst partners and employee. Customize trainings to fit healthcare model. Onboard partners to SAP CRM. Work with Field Marketing in lead optimization and quality.
- Map partners in scope and discounts across APAC
- With aVP drive Sales Force Effectiveness focusing on best practices within coverage, frequency and portfolio knowledge.
- Price adjustments and corrections within IDO and APAC Direct.
- Get prices to be aligned with the market, avoid too many QUARTs
- Work on PPS and QUART approval flow for APAC show casing better justification of deals.
- Incentivize partners in contracts with price-volume-ladders- tied to quota commitment.
QualificationsBachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.
Post-graduate, certification, and/or license may be required.
Typically, at least 8+ years relevant experience for entry to this level.
