Experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to oversee the Supply, Installation, Testing & commissioning of diesel / Gas generators. The Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring the successful planning, execution, and completion of generator installation projects, ensuring adherence to budget, timeline, quality, and safety standards. The role requires coordination with multiple stakeholders, including internal teams, contractors, vendors, and clients to ensure that the power infrastructure is installed and commissioned efficiently to meet operational requirements.
Key Accountabilities:
Ability to lead projects and help your team achieve goals. Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results.
Experience in Power distribution, Breaker design, Protective relay, GCB Panels and data centre mechanical exhaust system, fuel system, cooling systems and room/enclosure acoustic. Emissions regulations and testing, applicable electrical and regulatory codes.
Application engineering includes Quality assurance, design & Application development for PowerGen business like Enclosure Design, Silencer, Fuel System, Electrical Parts.
Experience in conflict resolution with contractors, consultants, engineers, vendors, utility companies, end-users, etc.
Plays a leading role within the department where he is tasked with the planning, management, execution and implementation of projects.
Project & Application Engineer will work closely with global application and R&D team in designing, developing and deploying scalable technologies that will lead to increase customer satisfaction
To interface with quality, sourcing, materials etc. for various value analysis cost reduction quality improvement projects
Demonstrate Cost reduction in the projects; Adhere to the Project Cost.
Follow and adhere to safety and security policies and procedures. Report immediately any safety or security issues or concerns.
Project Schedules & Risk Management. Identify, coordinate, manage expectations, and offer alternatives when defining customer solutions.
Manage relationships with clients and suppliers to ensure that all expectations are clarified, understood, documented, and met.
Key Skills / Experience Required:
B.E/B. Tech (Mechanical/Electrical Engineering/Industrial) with MBA/PGDM in Business Management 10+ Year of Experience
Relevant years of Experience with 5 Years in Project System Business/PowerGen/Data Center/EPC
Strong leadership skills and personal Integrity.
Understanding of business requirement. Be able to diagnose problems quickly and have foresight into potential issues
Ability to work with global team, communicating accurately within the team and with customers and suppliers.
Good decision-making & analytical skills, ability to work independently and with team. Good Communication skills in English (Oral & Written). German language is preferred
Experience in Engineering, PowerGen Application (Diesel & Gas), Testing & Project Management
