Summary:
Synechron is seeking aQA Automation Engineer - Mobile (Selenium & Appium)to join our team and help ensure the quality of our software products. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of software testing principles, experience in developing and maintaining automated testing scripts, and hands-on experience with testing frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or TestNG.
Key Skills:

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong portfolio showcasing your testing skills and experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated testing scripts for mobile applications.
- Write comprehensive test plans, test cases, and bug reports to document testing processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to identify and resolve issues.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices for testing and automation.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software testing and automation, and share knowledge with the team.
Experience:
- Total Experience: 3-7 years of experience in Selenium Java, Mobile automation for iOS and Android using Appium.
Relevant Experience:
- Strong experience in developing and maintaining automated testing scripts.
- Hands-on experience with testing frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or TestNG.
- Knowledge of mobile automation frameworks specifically for iOS and Android applications.
Day-to-Day Activities:
- Execute automated test scripts and analyze results.
- Troubleshoot and resolve automated testing issues.
- Attend daily stand-ups and project planning meetings.
- Report on testing progress and results to stakeholders.
- Continuously improve testing processes through feedback and retrospectives.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
- Adaptability to changing requirements and technologies.
