As controls Project Manager in Risk Management and Compliance team You would be supporting the Control Management organization in maintaining a robust and consistent control environment across the firm. You will be responsible for monitoring completeness of our tooling inventory that enhances operational efficiency and drives business success. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for automation, streamline processes, and deliver data-driven insightsThe Risk Management and Compliance Controls Projects Team supports the Control Management organization in maintaining a robust and consistent control environment across the firm. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Risk and Control Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring completeness of our tooling inventory that enhances operational efficiency and drives business success. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for automation, streamline processes, and deliver data-driven insights. 


Job Responsibilities


  • Participate in and Present at Risk Management and Compliance Forums
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design solutions that meet business needs
  • Implement best practices to ensure consistency and quality across Tooling Solutions.
  • Provide training and support to end-users to ensure effective utilization of tools and solutions 
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions and make necessary adjustments.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve and innovate.
  • Quality Assurance across User Tools and Intelligent Solutions
  • Review the deep-dive analysis of technology processes and identify areas for improvement
  • In partnership with stakeholders, evaluate and perform an end-to-end analysis of the business risk and control environment to identify significant gaps and weaknesses and determine root cause of control breaks
  • Ensure that controls and processes are properly designed, operating effectively, and essential to a proactive risk and control culture 
  • Ensure that businesses/teams within Risk Management and Compliance (RM&C) maintain alignment with latest Tooling standards and procedures with respect to registration and ongoing usage.
  • Examine and ensure that Quarterly and Annual Estimation Confirmation processes are carried out as expected.
  • Participate in and present in various RM&C working groups

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills 


  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across RM&C to lead various recertification processes, ensuring adherence to Firmwide procedures and policies
  • Establish and enforce best practices for the development and deployment of Tooling solutions to ensure consistency and quality
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and a good understanding of data analytic tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, Qlik, SAS, Python, etc.
  • Project management skills, including the ability to gain consensus among staff and drive initiatives to completion effectively. A strategic thinker who makes appropriate business decisions and gains the cooperation of others.
  • Deliver concise and accurate Project Status Updates
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to coordinate issues, findings, and best practices with Firmwide Tooling leads

Inquisitive and proactive in identifying risks and issues and proposing solutions.
