We are looking for Senior Devops Engineer
You’ll make a difference by:
- Build CI CD pipelines and manage tools like Jenkins, Gitlab, as well as automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools. Handle Linux Operating Systems and cloud environments. Building and setting up new development tools, infrastructure, and Networking.
- System troubleshooting and maintenance, administering development tools and systems (JIRA, Confluence, CICD tools etc.,), Deploy updates and fixes.
- Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience.
- Build scalable, efficient cloud, and on-premises infrastructure.
- Develop software to integrate with internal back-end systems.
- Write scripts to automate visualization.
- Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Implement monitoring for automated system health checks
- Drive discussions around Devops, technical concepts and specifications based on the analysis of customer processes and requirements, identify potential interfaces, re-usable components.
- Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developers. Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes.
- Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats. Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and ‘fixes’.
- Work with software developers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended. Also drive issues to resolution during application instability.
- Knowledge-Management competence building practice exchange. Ability to estimate complex solutions, assess complex customer requirements and advise customers on the feasibility, selection, development, effort, and implementation of specific IT solutions.
- Perform root cause analysis for production errors. Investigate and resolve technical issues.
- Maintain and implement change management control procedures and processes for UAT/QA and production releases
- Implement test automation(ui/api) integration with CI/CD for extensive test coverage and enable metrics collection
- Implement and adopt best practices on DevSecOps, Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment and Continuous
- Testing (Both for server side and client side)
- Exhibit high level of mentorship.
- Steps in to solve issues even if it is beyond defined scope and drives self and team to "get it done".
- Audits & Compliance (both NPS and PS)
- Infrastructure Security (both NPS and PS)
- Asset Management & Tracking (both NPS and PS)
You’ll win us over by:
- 6+ years of overall IT experience with at least 5 years in core DevOps role.
- Proficient with Git and Git workflows, Ruby or Python, Cloud environments mainly AWS.
- Collaborative team spirit in an Agile set up. [Scrum, Kanban]. Hands on Containers and container orchestration tools.
- Experience developing engineering applications for a large corporation.
