Your impact

The Senior Piping Engineer will lead piping design and engineering activities for semiconductor, industrial, chemical, pharmaceutical, and electronic projects. the candidate should be skilled in piping layouts, 3D modeling, equipment orientation, isometric review, material specifications, and industry standards. Strong knowledge of high‑purity, utility, and process piping is essential. The role involves coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring compliance with project requirements, supporting construction, and guiding junior engineers to ensure timely and high‑quality project delivery.

• Strong knowledge of chemical system piping, layouts, and standards (OISD, PESO, Gas Cylinder Rules, SMPV).
• Experience leading FEED and Detailed Engineering activities.
• Understanding of equipment erection, maintenance, operation, and process equipment.
• Good knowledge of piping material specifications, supports, and support standards.
• Skilled in preparing equipment layouts and plot plans.
• Managing MTO at all project stages and ensuring control until mechanical completion.
• Handling procurement activities—enquiry specs, technical reviews, TR, and order specs.
• Reviewing piping content in mechanical packages.
• Coordinating with clients, including 30%, 60%, 90% model reviews.
• Leading teams of piping engineers and designers; coordinating multi‑discipline and multi‑office work.
• Understanding client requirements and ITBs.
• Proficient in 3D project execution and tools like Plant 3D, S3D, E3D, Navisworks, SPR.
• Skilled in manpower planning, deliverable planning, and large project estimation/proposals.

Here's what you'll need

The candidate should hold a degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering and possess 8 to 13 years of relevant experience. They must have worked on industrial projects within the pharmaceutical, chemical, and electronics sectors, demonstrating strong technical understanding and exposure to engineering and project execution in these industries.

Detailed Piping engineering activities for industrial plants covering required design calculations, MTOs, Piping Material Specifications, various types of layouts, procurement activity for piping items covering preparation of enquiry specification, review of quotes and preparation of TR, preparation of order specifications, review of vendor drawings, review of piping content for mechanical packages. 

Location : Navi Mumbai (The application has been accepted for the candidate who is willing to relocate to Mumbai)
