Your role in the team's success:

• Managing and Upgrading our Existing Hyperconverged, Cohesity, Infrastructure.
• Escalation Point in the response to priority incidents. Diagnosing and resolving complex issues.
• Assisting in the operational maintenance and support of the Nutanix & Backup Infrastructure.
• Assist in implementing automation where possible.
• Ensure team documentation are up to date and assist the teams in coaching or documenting where needed.
• Ensuring redundancy and disaster recovery configurations are in place where applicable, coaching the team where needed.
• Innovator approach to constantly checking newest competitive technologies in market.

You will play a supporting role in driving our Backups systems infrastructure strategy that is highly automated and tuned to meet our business needs.

What you will need for this role

• 10+ years' experience across Virtualization, Backup & DC.
• Strong working knowledge of Nutanix Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI), requiring a mix of infrastructure, virtualisation, and cloud-native skills.
• Deploy, and manage Nutanix HCI clusters (AOS, AHV, Prism Central/Element).
• Perform upgrades, patching, migrations, and lifecycle management (LCM).
• Troubleshoot complex issues across compute, storage, networking, and virtualization layers
• Integrate Nutanix with backup, DR, monitoring, and security tools.
• Automate tasks using PowerShell, Python, Terraform or Ansible.
• Collaborate with network, security, and application teams. 
• Create and maintain technical documentation and SOPs.
• Act as an escalation point for critical production issues.

DESIRABLE SKILLS:

• Exposure to Dell ECS & Cohesity.
• Understanding of modern scale-out infrastructure design.
• Good understanding of Enterprise security principles.
• Understanding of network protocols and concepts.
