We work to international design standards and regulations, ensuring our contributions meet the highest benchmarks of quality and innovation.      At GDSC, you’ll be empowered to collaborate across borders, grow your expertise, and make a meaningful impact on infrastructure and development projects that shape communities worldwide.      As part of GDSC in India, you will be working alongside Mott MacDonald international colleagues delivering ambitious projects across a broad range of building types including   commercial, residential, retail and offices, education, healthcare, airports, data center, hotels, sports and events venues, and Metro & stations. Under this sector, our services span the whole asset cycle from advisory to consulting, through design and delivery, to asset management. With deep understanding of all phases of the building lifecycle, it enables us to give our clients the best-informed engineering and innovative solutions.      Job Description:       Responsible for planning and design of all building services elements and infrastructure networks of the particular disciplines.   Responsible for design based on evaluation for various options in coordination with architectural, structural input and in accordance with initial load estimates. Do design calculations and quantity estimation.   Ensure all design work is carried out in accordance with Company’s quality standard procedures.       Candidate Specification:       B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering discipline.   9 to 12 years’ experience in Lighting design. Experience in high rise buildings/shopping malls/hotels/metro projects / Hospitals are required.   Experience in Façade lighting and Rendering, landscape lighting and road lighting calculation.   Basic knowledge in Lighting control system, DALI and sensors.   Knowledge in Lighting power density as per IESNA , Ashrae, BSRIA, CIBSE, BS and other international standards.   Architectural and FOH lighting in ionic projects – Shopping malls / Hotels   Light fixture technical parameters and specification.   Working experience in Revit and Auto cad.   Proficient in Lighting design software like Elum tool, AGI 32, Dialux, RELUX, Visual lighting   Basic knowledge in Emergency lighting standards and calculation    Well versed in reviewing and checking of drawings and calculations.   Experience in lighting cut sheet and rendering video preparation for the FOH areas   Knowledge in Dark sky lighting standards and fixtures, lighting power density, sustainability requirements.   Good knowledge of relevant international codes and regulations such as BS/BSEN/CIBSE/IESNA etc.,   Flexible working At Mott MacDonald, we support our staff to create work-life balance which works for them and welcome candidates looking for career flexibility.
