ABOUT THE ROLE
The purpose of the Senior Manager, People Experience role is to provide strong partnership to Senior Leaders in the Commercial organization to develop and implement people and talent plans that support the delivery of our business goals. Reporting to the India People Experience Lead, the role holder will support the India commercial business with an approximate revenue size of ~USD 350 million and an employee base of ~1800 employees. The incumbent will be responsible for delivering strategic and operational excellence on key people processes and will be expected to partner with leaders in developing and embedding a strong mid to long term people plan that supports the delivery of the overall business plan.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Partnering
- Co-create people and talent strategy with senior leaders in Commercial and key Enabling functions to help drive business and functional strategy and operations.
- Provide strategic and operational support for business and functional structures, restructuring, change management, acquisitions and divestments.
- Support leaders to build strong teams through coaching and enabling managers, robust performance management guidelines, building capability and effectiveness and leveraging of analytics in decision making.
- Support a strong compliance culture through providing necessary inputs to leaders, manager and colleagues. Actively participate in and drive compliance investigations.
- Ensure alignment of all strategic and operational elements to global policies and governance processes of shared services and operations, C&B, L&D.
- Coach Managers on complex matters relating to employee performance, culture, talent and well-being, equipping them with the necessary know-how to be more effective leaders.
Employee and Industrial Relations :
- Be the ER / IR expert for managing and resolving organization-wide issues.
- Provide strategic input to Leadership on Industrial Relations matters
- Proactively creating an insulating framework to ensure business continuity through proactively addressing union matters in the sales force.
- Interactions with the legal counsel for remediation of cases and disputes and consultation on legal approach and execution of ER & IR matters.
Talent Management, Development and Engagement
- Partner with Business, Talent and L&D teams to design and execute an integrated talent management framework equipped to meet the evolving needs of the business.
- Be the custodian of talent and performance processes such as talent planning and reviews, end of year compensation cycles.
- Partner with a cross section of stakeholders to design and manage OD and change interventions to foster a positive employee experience.

- Strong business acumen and functional knowledge that can help create and deliver people strategy elements
- Expertise in core HR competencies with focus on talent management, business partnering, employee engagement and ER / IR skills
- Demonstrated ability to drive HR and talent processes and deliver high quality support and services in a dynamic, fast-paced, matrixed environment.
- Excellent inter-personal skills geared towards influencing and negotiating with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to create a high level of impact through communication, proactive planning and leveraging networks and relationships
- Ability to coach and guide leaders and managers and creation of alignment for coordinated strategy formulation and implementation.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Full-time post graduate degree in Human Resources
- 10+ years of experience as an HR and CoE Partner
- Demonstrated ability to partner and work with senior leadership team members
