Overall Responsibilities:- Serve as a Payment Subject Matter Expert (SME) with in-depth domain knowledge.
- Analyze, document, and communicate business requirements related to payment systems.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure functionality aligns with business needs.
- Participate in project management activities, including planning, execution, and testing.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders, including clients and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide expertise in cash products and message types, including MT103, MT202, and 202COV.
- Guide ISO migration processes and ensure compliance with ISO formats such as CBPR+ and PACS - MX.
- Contribute to the understanding of major clearing platforms (SWIFT, CHAPS, CHIPS, etc.).
- Engage in testing and quality assurance processes to validate system functionalities.
- Support investigation processes and related message types (e.g., CAMT).
Category-wise Technical Skills:Mandatory Experience:
- Extensive experience in payments systems, with a minimum of 8+ years in a relevant role.
- Knowledge of complex database environments and experience with SQL.
- Familiarity with continuous integration practices and tools, such as Maven.
Technical Requirements:
- Development experience in software product environments, particularly in payments.
- Understanding of payment processing workflows and systems integration.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working in a global environment with diverse teams.
- Basic project management skills and testing experience.
- Proficiency in multiple languages (English, Mandarin, Arabic, French, etc.).
Experience:- Total Experience: 7-12 years
- Relevant Experience: 7+ years in payment systems or related fields.
Day-to-Day Activities:- Conduct requirement gathering sessions with stakeholders to define payment system needs.
- Analyze and document business processes and workflows.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure adherence to requirements.
- Participate in testing and validation of payment solutions.
- Provide ongoing support and expertise throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in payments or project management (e.g., PMP, PMI-ACP) are a plus.
Soft Skills:- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated, fast learner with a strong sense of ownership.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
