Digital Marketing team is seeking a Full Stack Java Developer with experience (+5 years) specific to Web Application development in Java/J2EE programming (with UI/UX experience in Angular, React). The candidate must have good knowledge and experience on object-oriented programming (OOP) while supporting, leading, and training in software management use with little or no direction. This would include all aspects such as analyzing, designing, coding and unit testing core modules of the new Online application and working with a global team of developers, SMEs and architects. The candidate would be a part of a high-performance global team responsible for the delivery of features in Brand and Marketing Applications. As a key member of the delivery execution team, candidate would need to create scalable designs, write maintainable code, reusable components/services/utilities, and test cases. Qualifications include good organizational skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, good time management skills, ability to work independently, and effectively communicate with team members. The candidate must be capable of working in all phases of the application system development life cycle. The successful candidate will become a recognized Subject Matter Expert within Visa, responsible for contributing to the development and implementation of Brand and Marketing tools application.

Basic Qualifications:
BS or MS in Computer Science or related technical field
Experience: 5+ years of Full Stack Java Development in a containerized microservices architecture using Java/Spring Boot, with strong UI/UX development experience in Angular, React JS

Preferred Qualifications:
Multi-disciplinary skills and experience in ideation, software design, programming, debugging, and optimization
Experience of building REST based web services & web applications using Java and Spring framework
Experience writing unit and integration test cases
Solid understanding of Object-Oriented design and programming concepts
Expertise in front-end technologies, including JavaScript, CSS3 and HTML5 and third-party libraries such as ReactJS, Angular, jQuery
Responsible for the architecture, design, development, and implementation of software applications
Evaluate and introduce technology tools and processes that enable Visa to develop products and solutions, embrace business opportunities, and improve operational efficiency
Experience in working on Microservices and containerization such as Docker and Kubernetes
Ability to work quickly in an agile environment, part of an on-call rotation duty among other engineers
Experience with GIT, Jira and Jenkins. Participate in Continuous Integration or Continuous Delivery pipeline
Excellent communications skills (verbal and written)
Hands on experience on python will be significant plus
Flavors of GenAI: Experience and understanding of Generative AI technologies and their applications
Agentic Framework: Understanding of the agentic framework and mindset for leveraging Generative AI
Innovation: Ability to think creatively about how to apply GenAI to improve and innovate within the payment technology space
