Senior Supply Planner

Job Description:

The Senior Supply Planner will be based in Hyderabad. In this position, you will report to the Head of Planning , North America. This position blends strategic supply planning with tactical production execution, ensuring material readiness through robust MRP processes and Clear-to-Build (CTB) validation. You will be responsible for coordinating the availability of critical drilling machine assemblies and components, aligning supply with project timelines to meet delivery and revenue goals. You will be working closely with Suppliers, Fleet Management, Program Management, Procurement, Logistics & Delivery Managers to ensure that we have the materials we need to meet our delivery schedules & revenue goals. Here is a glimpse of what you will do:

• Lead end-to-end supply and production planning for drilling machine assemblies and components to ensure timely material availability for manufacturing and project deployment.
• Build and execute MRP logic, and perform Clear-to-Build (CTB) analyses to verify material readiness and identify potential shortages. Maintain accuracy of master data (lead times, lot sizes, safety stocks, reorder points) to ensure optimal planning outcomes.
• Monitor MRP and CTB outputs to proactively identify and mitigate supply risks, shortages, and delays.
• Balance demand forecasts with supplier capacity and production constraints to maintain stable material flow and support new product introductions.
• Serve as the supplier Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for planning, production schedules, and delivery performance, driving on-time delivery and recovery plans when needed.
• Conduct regular supplier and cross-functional reviews (Procurement, Sourcing, Quality, Logistics) to align supply strategies with project timelines.
• Optimize inventory and safety stock positions to reduce excess and obsolescence while ensuring uninterrupted operations.
• Support digital transformation of planning tools (ERP/Anaplan) and develop dashboards to track CTB, MRP adherence, and supplier performance metrics.
• You will be the owner for vendor’s performance on delivery & representing planning during QBRs (Quarterly Business Review).

Here is some of what you will need (required):

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field with (8-10) years of experience in Production Planning, Materials Management, Spare Parts Management from Heavy Machinery/Automotive industry background.
• Proven experience with MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis, or Anaplan) and CTB processes.
• Experience with planning methodologies (e.g., S&OP, Demand Planning, Strategic Planning).
• Strong understanding of supply chain principles and best practices.
• Expert MS EXCEL Skills leveraging Power Query, Power Pivots, Solvers etc.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex supplier networks and drive accountability through structured performance reviews.
• Flexible to work in US time zone.
