This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Min Experience: 7 years Location: Telangana, Hyderabad JobType: full-time We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable ServiceNow solutions focused on IT Asset Management (ITAM), Configuration Management (CMDB), and enterprise integrations .
This role plays a critical part in improving visibility, governance, and automation across IT operations by ensuring high data quality, seamless system integrations, and compliance with ITIL and CSDM standards.
Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and enhance ServiceNow solutions for Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) aligned with enterprise processes and license compliance requirements.
Own and maintain the CMDB , ensuring accurate CI relationships, normalization, reconciliation, and lifecycle management.
Build and scale integrations with inventory and endpoint management tools such as SCCM, Intune, and JAMF for real-time hardware and software visibility.
Implement and manage Discovery patterns, data imports, CI class models , and service mapping aligned with CSDM and ITIL best practices.
Develop and automate integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise systems including Active Directory, Coupa, SailPoint , and other platforms using IntegrationHub, REST/SOAP APIs, and MID Servers .
Support ITAM and CMDB governance processes to ensure data ownership, quality, and audit readiness.
Create dashboards and reports to track asset utilization, compliance, and lifecycle metrics.
Collaborate with ServiceNow Architects and Platform Owners to design scalable solutions aligned with the platform roadmap.
Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, design reviews, and retrospectives.
Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues, integration failures, and data inconsistencies.
Support ServiceNow upgrades through impact analysis, testing, and remediation.
Document technical designs, workflows, integrations, and data models for governance and audits.
Required Qualifications 7+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience , with at least 3+ years focused on ITAM and/or CMDB .
Strong expertise in: CMDB architecture : CI classes, relationships, dependency mapping, service modeling, and reconciliation engines.
CSDM (v4+) implementations across technical services, business applications, and infrastructure layers.
Discovery & Service Mapping : patterns, debugging, and custom probes.
Asset Management : HAM/SAM workflows, normalization, license compliance, and financial lifecycle management.
Integration & Technical Expertise Extensive experience building enterprise integrations using: IntegrationHub (custom spokes, actions, credentials, connection aliases).
REST/SOAP APIs with secure authentication strategies.
MID Server configuration, clustering, and troubleshooting.
Strong experience with Import Sets, Transform Maps , and scheduled data loads.
Solid understanding of authentication methods such as OAuth 2.
0, Basic Auth, API keys, and certificate-based authentication .
Expert-level JavaScript skills with deep knowledge of ServiceNow Glide APIs .
Hands-on experience with: Flow Designer, Workflow Editor, Business Rules, Script Includes UI Actions, UI Policies, Client Scripts, GlideAjax ACLs, security rules, and role-based access control Strong SQL skills for reporting and troubleshooting.
Proficiency with JSON, XML , and data serialization formats.
