Job Details:Job Summary: Manage the day-to-day Services Operations activities and works with other Cubic managers to ensure that programs achieve their contractual requirements, performance, financial and quality goals. This position typically works under limited supervision and direction. Incumbents of this position will regularly exercise discretionary and substantial decision-making authority.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with other operations managers to achieve the program’s performance and financial goals.
- Provide operations oversight for the Services program area.
- Manage the daily operations of the Services program that can include but is not limited to ServiceNow ticket Support, Daily Performance Reports, Dashboard monitoring, and documentation support.
- Ensure the department’s processes, procedures, and daily operations are up-to-date and comply with PCI, PII, and other rules, laws, guidelines, certifications and Cubic documentation, performance and security requirements.
- Provide leadership and management of direct reports to meet financial, contractual, and quality objectives.
- Plan and manage department’s activities and performance against contractual requirements and Cubic’s internal targets, budgets and required policies and standards.
- Identify performance areas that require improvement and develop and implement corrective plans.
- Communicate new or updated program requirements to all Cubic operations areas to ensure their timely and efficient implementation.
- Coordinate the development and deployment of projects that cross multiple operations areas that support program goals.
- Meet regularly with external customers to maintain effective customer relations.
- Meet regularly with external partners and suppliers supporting the program to ensure ongoing operational performance.
- Produce progress and status reports.
- Provide back-up support for Program Managers when required.
- Report operational issues and coordinate workarounds and solutions with Engineering.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Four-year college degree in Business Management or related field plus a minimum of eight years’ experience managing large multifaceted projects in a challenging leadership environment. Extensive management experience in a matrixed environment across remote working relationships is necessary. Able to prioritize, complete multiple tasks and work under deadlines. Must have strong leadership and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in written form.

Desirable:
- Experience within transit agencies.
- Experience managing fare collection-related design and build programs.
- Knowledge of Cubic devices, products, and IT system solutions.
- Familiarity with mobile ticketing and automated fare collection systems or similar large-scale networks.
- PowerBI or equivalent experience
