Your new role – challenging and future-oriented Candidate should be well versed in .NET framework, C#, Windows forms/MAUI, Visual Basic, macros-based Excel, SQL Server, Networking and AI/ML basics. The candidate would be expected to understand functional requirements/logic around core engineering streams (mechanical/electrical/ I&C) and code them into the intended tools/applications that improve productivity and efficiency of engineering processes. Role & Responsibilities Understand functional requirements and business logic from intended users Code requirements into tool (back-end, UI, server) Test tool functionalities to ensure all user requirements have been met Incorporate feedback from users Be conversant with agile methodologies and allied tools like JIRA to track work progress Collaborate with other coders in the team and ensure timely completion of deliverables We don’t need superheroes, just super minds: Qualification and Experience BE/B Tech in Computer Science / IT or allied fields OR MCA. 5 to 7 years’ experience in similar field. Functional Skills required Ability to understand user requirements / engineering logic (mechanical/electrical/ I&C) and convert it to C# based application Visualize inter-linkage of different in-house legacy toolchains to digital platform being developed Visualize dataflow between interlinked modules Understanding of macros based excel /VB.Net for legacy and ancillary modules (and possible code conversion to C#) Knowledge of AI/ML algorithms to automate identified activities Host application on network server/cloud with appropriate SQL/non-SQL database functionality and REST API development for tool functionality Previous experience of working for digitalization in core engineering companies (power / oil and gas / automotive etc) will be an advantage C#, .NET framework, UI/UX for Windows based application (Windows forms/WPF/MAUI), AI/ML algorithms, excel based macros (VBA), SQL Server, Networking (IIS server) Good English communication skills We’ve got quite a lot to offer.
